I am planning to convert the front brakes on my '71 Dart to disc. I have read the spindle article by Bill Reilly and plan to use F/M/J setup. From what I understand, the only A body parts I will need are the UCA's. Now the question is concerning the Ball-joints.

I am compiling a parts list and have looked up parts on the O'Reilly's web site. I am not sure if I need to get the Lower Ball-Joints for the F/M/J or the A body. The website lists the same part number for the Upper Ball-Joints, but not the Lower Ball-Joints. For the F/M/J they list Lower Ball-Joints as needing two per car, which is what I would expect. The site lists only one per car for a '74 Dart, which is also listed to come with a steering arm. Which do I need?

You will need the ones from the A-body. The F-body has a totally differant LCA and ball joint setup.
