Ever wonder how to dettach the dash pad on your A-body? Here's the backside of my '76 Duster dash. Notice that the top edge is held with nuts screwed onto studs that are mounted onto the dash pad subframe. The bottom edge of the pad, as it turns down next to the A-pillar, is held with a small bolt. This one is a little difficult to get to, but I did manage to get it off with a small 1/4" drive socket.

Good luck,
Jerry

Thanks Jerry! Pulled my new dash pad at the pick 'n' pull yesterday, knowing what to expect made it worlds easier!

I struggled with it the first time, on Aaron's '74 Dart. Of course, on this Duster, it is a lot easier, having everything gutted from underneath the dash. Glad to be of help.

By the way, (it is Rob isn't it?) weren't you interested in the Duster tail lights at one time? We still have them.

Jerry
