------------------------------------------------------------------------Hey, I know this is slantsix.org not v8.org but I promise that i got a buzzin hal dozen in my dart.. anyway i'm trying to find motor mounts for a 67 a100 van that had a 225 but is getting switched out to a 318 v8. It's got a 727 tranny. I got some mounts at the jyd out of an a100 with a 340 in it but they're not working out. Any advice would be gratly appreciated.

The 340/360 motor mounts are differant, then for the 273/318.

i knew that they were different on cars but i thought that the a100's either came with the six or the eight mount. I'm just wondering if a slant six van chasis is set up different than a v8 van and if so do i have to find some crazy after market conversion mount kit. or are there stock mounts out there that'll work on a 318 block in a 225 van. You know what I mean?

The mounts between the 318 and the 340/360 are not the same no matter what the chassis application. Its because the mounting spacing on the blocks is different. If you are swapping a 318 in you need mounts from a 318. If the A100 is anything like the later vans and pickups, the mounts are all that would have to be changed, unlike the cars which require a different K frame too. You might want to checkk with schumacher, they make swap mounts for all kinds of mopar motors.....www.engine-swaps.com I believe is what you are after
