I just recently purchaced a remanufactured Carter model 2297 carb, 2bbl to replace my Holley carb. I don't think its a BBD as recommended, but it will fit on the manifold. ( i.e. Carb Leak post)
Anyhow, I am running into the same problem with this carb as with the last one... lack of info.
I can supply a photo if that will help the situation.
I am wondering about just general set-up of the carb.
Thanks

Something's up with that carb number.

the 2295-2299 in the Carter series corresponds to the 1956 Mopar lineup...

????

Yes, the carb says 2297 on the body of the carb.
The Throttle lever doesn't have a spring on it, is that typical of the BBD carb?
