I took my valve cover off to retorq the head and adjust the valves. well I was looking at the oilers in the rocker arms, well one of my rockers wasn't oiling to well(exhuast on cyl #3) ... well I noticed spaces between the rocker arms... sure enough they moved... while the engine running I slid the arms back toward the rear of the engine and suddenly that arm starts oiling very good..

So my question is, are these gaps normal? and if so whats the normal gap? The engine had a valve job sometime ago before I had it so i'm thinking maybe they didn't put the spacers back in correct spots.. it seams Cylinders 3 & 4 seam to have the most gaps about 1/4-3/8 inch.., other has smaller gaps or none.
