Infact, I ran the 209 and a 198 "back to back" in the race car, the 209 (9.5 to 1) ran 14.20's and the 198 (10.5 to 1) ran 14.60's
The only other main difference was the 209 used a mild roller cam, the 198 a simular flat tappit grind.
The short 170 block and 5.7 c to c rods in the 209 seemed to let it rev-up a little quicker. (or the roller cam could have done it, it' hard to really say)
