I know you have used both a 198 and 210 cube /6. I was wondering what your thoughts were, as to the differences between the two. I realize that the 210 is used for racing, but is it very much different than running a 198? I guess the old rod ratio question comes into play here, and you are the only one I know that has performed this crank swap.

Infact, I ran the 209 and a 198 "back to back" in the race car, the 209 (9.5 to 1) ran 14.20's and the 198 (10.5 to 1) ran 14.60's
The only other main difference was the 209 used a mild roller cam, the 198 a simular flat tappit grind.
The short 170 block and 5.7 c to c rods in the 209 seemed to let it rev-up a little quicker. (or the roller cam could have done it, it' hard to really say)
