I just took my lower control arm bushings out. Boy that was hard!!!!!!!!!!
I have the inner bushings still stuck on the LCA shaft. Anybody know how to get them off - the easy way. I know the hard way.

And is it just as hard to press the new ones in? If so, could I get them pressed in at the auto parts store?

The easy way is to take the LCA and new bushing to your favorite machine shop and pay them $10-15 each to remove the old bushing and press in the new one.

One of the best $20 I ever spent!

if you have a local surplus store see if they have a large 1 3/8 NF12 tap--- tap that puppy in & press out the outer shell-- works for me--- others with welders-- use some thick washers weld them around the edge & press them out--- good -- luck--
The local shop here wanted $100 for this procedure so I found this in my 62 FSM--- plus I have access to a shop press--- good luck
