In order to install a pressure gauge, you need a sender capable of driving a gauge. Factory P/N on that sender is 2427 237. Once you've got that installed in place of the original "red light only" sender, you're pretty much all set.

Dan you still get these parts through Mopar? My local Chrysler dealer said they couldn't get these anymore  . I want to get rid of the idiot light on my Duster also. I don't trust it.

NAPA Echlin OP6670 is the late-type gauge-and-light sender. Has two terminals: One is on/off for the light, and the other is variable for a gauge. You can get the matching socket off a '90-up "anything" at the wrecking yard.

AKA "idiot light" pressure switch. An oil pressure switch (normally closed, I think) that turns off the red "Oil" light on the dash when oil pressure comes up to some set level.
To run a gauge, you need a sender that changes over the range of pressure.
To run a gauge and an light, you need both types plumbed into the oil system.

Well, yeah, you can do it that way, but it means more connections to leak. Using a dual-function sender such as the OP6670 means you can run both the gauge and the light from just the one sender.

The plug-in connector can be had off any '90-up Chrysler product that has an oil pressure gauge. Dodge trucks and vans, Spirits and Acclaims, there are lots of options.
