mmmm......looks like this project will be more costly than I thought, I can get a TBird supercharger for 80 dollars (is working well), but the blow-through carb will be a real problem to get here.

If you're willing to go the four barrel route (and can get a holley relatively cheaply), there's instructions all over the net for how to rig them up to work as blow through. It doesn't look like that bad of a process.

You can always go with a draw through on a roots type blower. The expensive and /or time consuming part of installing any blower on a slant is custom made parts (pulley, bracket, etc).

Add fuel and oxygen until piston melts ....then back off 2 steps. Repeat as necessary.

Tell me the truth, is worth the time and money to supercharge/turbocharge a slant? supercharge my slant is hitting the 400 dollars mark and can go up to 600 dollars, while putting a 360 V8 with anything to make it run cost me 420 dollars.

Also I need the hood to close well or with a small scoop (no more than 2 inches tall), currently my car is parked in the street so is not a good idea to make it to attractive to certain eyes.

What is your goal? If your intention is to go as fast as possible with the smallest initial financial investment, then yes, you should swap in the 360.

Then I would suggest a blown slant or a small V-8 (273 or 318), not a 360.

Turbo is probably cheaper than a supercharger to get and make work on a slant. I have never done a turbo slant, and for that matter completed a blower on a slant...yet. If you are in love with the slant, keep it and make it run like you want it to. V8 conversion is the easiest for a power increase since pre-made parts are available to complete the conversion. Since this is the "Slant 6" site, I personally would turbo the slant.
