I could not find anything on their website about specific applications or pricing. Is that information available with out calling them?

70valiant':

I called them last week; (248) 471-9505
they do ship direct from factory, their prices were-

#6708: 7mm / BLK $47
#6008: 8mm / BLUE $49
#6508: 8.5mm / RED $81
I never discussed shipping prices...

However, oddly enough-
AlamoMotorSports (321) 725-3159
lists #6508 for ONLY $55 plus $7.95 S&H (FEDEX Ground)

I was gonna call Alamo tomorrow, to make sure that price wasn't a typo!

I use the Accel Wire set on both my street car and the dart when racing. I believe rodney hargis Uses (Used) the same wire set - I believe they are available from summit.

Not sure of price or Internal Cable Diamater, but they are bigger than stock.

I had some radio noise suppression issues with the Accels on my 318's. Have you had any such problems with them on the /6's?

I have seen wires from napa on e bay they look ok but I like the look and info on those magacor's. I think I have toasted the wires I am now using. I have got my s/s set up running but this carb drinks fuel the 1bbl was pushing 20mpg and now I'm seeing 14 to 16 at best on the freeway with the bbd.

About the Accel Super Stock wires......
They work great.....but when I put a set on my '72 pickup...the radio had lots of engine buzz. When the tach went out, I turned the radio to an empty channel. listened to the rpm's from the speakers.
Supposed to be supression core wires, but you can't tell me that.

No radio, making it a radio delete car.

Can you realy tell a diference from the stock wires (20$) to the accel wires (40$), twice the money or more, is it truly worth it?

The only reason I run my Accel wires is because they where 15 bucks at a close-out store. I can't really tell the difference on a stock engine, though maybe the MSD coil was more an improvement than going from 7mm to 8mm wires. Plus, I have enough wire left to make another set.

The accel wires, I have are Part # 4061. The Box reads: SUPER STOCK SPIRAL CORE. They are not custom fit, these were pre- cut. A bit on the long side, but they work well for me.

It says this on the wires - HI TEMP SUPERSTOCK RADIO SUPPRESSION CORE 8mm WIRE

It appears the Wire sets currently available are Different Part #'s

CHECK HERE:
http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch ... 64&NeXID=5

But I seem to have found the 4061's Do exist, just not at summit, and they are CHEEPER too!
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=& ... tnG=Search

or this too:

http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=acc ... k=showlist

I Usually do not listen to the radio when I drive the dart, so That is a non-issue for me. I do not know which one of those part #'s I currewntly use - probably the 8036's or the 8026's I have to dig out the box and see for sure.

Greg

Do any of these wires have the boot for the old-style (drool tube) heads?
Or do we have to go to OEM wires for those?

They work on the drool tube head just fine, but They do not have the flap that covers the drool tube up - For a stock look, I suggest stock wires.

I had to get permium bosch plug wires for my 2.2 so I can use ZFR5N plugs.
The wire set is 09286.

The ceramic part of the ZFR5N is thinner that stock mopar plug wires won't seal around this.

One concern is these wires is metal core (says stainless steel winding over the plastic core) "MAG".

Cheers, Wizard
