Put me down tentatively for a 270. I'll make a final decision when I see the pricing.

Like Dakight,I would be interested in a 270 when pricing is finalized, that would be just about the perfect cam for the future 225 for my Dart.

I will be in for one. A 254 or 270, unless there are to be some custom grinds available. I really want something in between the two. It is looking like the smaller cam with some 1.6 roller rockers might be what I settle on.

I might be interested in the 270.
My only concern is how my stock trans/converter/rearend will handle that grind after my head/block work (porting, o/s valves, 9:1 comp, dual 1bll).
Most of my driving will be in town.
Any thoughts?

Thanks

I've not run the 270 before, but I know there are people on the board who have, so maybe post a new thread to find out their thoughts. FWIW I was planning on running the same combo.

Folks,

Spoke to them today, trying to arrange pricing but it looks like it would be around $130 per cam. I am still waiting to get clearance from the head manager for this deal, but it seems pretty positive.

Now the really hopeful news--custom grinds may be available on any profile they carry. take a look at their catalog on p.95 for possible profiles to start with.

Also, questions posed earlier:

Blanks: they are new blanks from EP
Lash: can set tighter, about .12-.14 intake, .14-.16 exhaust

I think that covers it.

Two questions;

Does the $130 include shipping? (Probably not)

Will these cams be shipped to you, then distributed, or drop shipped directly to individual buyers?

Roger

130 Dollars sounds reasonable to me.
