The factory BB Mopar dampener will bolt-onto a SL6 but it will stick-out from the timing cover by a few inches.
There is no groove in the BB dampener so you would have to make a custom pulley system to drive the water pump and accessories.

i run a 440 balancer, the timing cover oil seal has to be swaped for a 440s and the balancer can be machined for the belt groove just mark it the same distance out from timing cover and bring it to machine shop they can cut it to the dimension as stock balancer :D

COULD A BALANCER APPEAR TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE AND STILL CAUSE A NASTY VIBRATION? MY SEARCH FOR A NEW OR REMANED STOCK REPLACEMENT HAS BEEN UNFRUITFUL. ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO FIND ONE?

I have a few good used ones if needed.
If the dampener has a visable wobble at idle then it can cause vibration at speed. If it spins 'true', it is not the cause of your vibration problem.

They are still available in Australia, and there were only 2 sorts here. The timing marks are in different places, but otherwise the same.

To answer the remanf balancer question,

Damper Dudes and Damper Doctor both out of California can reman any balancer...I tested both a year back sending out a couple of spare dampers and both came back about the same time, rebuild looked good, and both had about the same price...
