OK, I've been searching for over an hour and can't find my answer.

I thought I read somewhere that an early A-body K member (63-66) is the same whether it's a 6 or a V8. Is this true?

If not can I put a 77 /6 in my 66 that has a V8 K member?

Old info I thought I knew, sorry?

Thanks in advance

Yes, the early K-members are the same for \6 and V8 engines.

You'll want an early A-body oil pan and pickup tube on the '77 engine.

What transmission do you plan on using?

The '77 cross member won't fit the '66, but the '66 cross member and mount will bolt to the '77 trans.
