I am going to make this switch in my 68 Dart no AC.
Will the accessories transfer over or do I have to buy new ones ?
Thank you,
Ed M.

i swapped a 170 into my '63 valiant and (if i remember right) all the accessories swapped over fine. you may need a new alternator belt as the alt will sit an inch higher with the 225. also the exhaust pipe may need to be extended to compensate for the higher manifold for the 225. my old exhaust had to be bolted up with the motor jacked up (soon to be fixed this week.)

ed-
they should fit fine. just swap the ones off you old motor. most of the valve covers are pretty much the same, the only differences being in the pcv/breather types. the oil pan is critical as there are different shapes to clear various subframes. just use the one that came in your car. you'll be ok.

Also use the oil pickup that go with the pan.
