Whats the best way to lube the hood hinges? Im having trouble getting the hood up and down without bending it.

You ought to be able to break loose the frozen rollers at the ends of the hood torsion bars by using a good penetrating oil such as Kroil or P'Blaster (forget WD40 or Liquid Wrench). Then apply a couple of drops of regular engine oil to the rollers where the bars go through 'em, and to the actual swing hinges.

After you get it broken loose, I use grease to keep it protected. I pack it with grease and wipe the excess off to make it look cleaner and protect it from sticking again later.

Try BOAT wheel bearing grease that is water proof.
