does anyone know off hand the 1st and 2nd ratios for both the 904 and the low gearset 904?

Is the 2nd to third shift in the 998 set extreamly noticeable, i.e. big difference from the 904?

That is the problem with using a low gear set with a Slant. What you gain in low you give back on the 2-3 shift. :(
