i have a 2dr 69 plymouth satellite with a 225 slant6 with a 3spd manual tranny...
i also have a t3 turbo charger and 500cfm holley 2barrel set up which i plan on putn on the satellite to fill in the extra space under the hood of my b-body...
i was wondering how much boost do you think i could turn with stock internals?

The SL6 has been known to handle in excess of 400 HP....
That 903 , non-syncrow 3-speed has been known for "blowing-up" behind stock engines.
You need to change-out the 3-speed before installing a turbo.

If you don't want an overdrive look for an 833, 4 speed '74/5 ish or older. the 75/6ish and newer look the same on the outside but 3rd is like yours now, and 4th gear is O.D. There are several recent threads on this very subject; one in particular that I am thinking of pertains to such a swap on an A body but aside from a different driveshaft tunnel "hump" for your B body, and the fact that the B's generally took the "long tail" version of this trans, the how to is the same.

Also review the 4-speed article.
http://www.slantsix.org/articles/4-spee ... speed1.htm

You will find that your car is a lot more fun to drive when you have more gears to use and you can shift into 1st gear with-out coming to a stop.

This should probably be in the trans forum, but how much will the A-833 4spd O/D in my truck handle?
Is there a 5spd that will bolt up?
