I recall a while back over on SS.com there was a discussion about using an 80's era electronic trunk release that is pretty much bolt in on a Duster(and Im assuming other similar Mopars as well). I have been considering doing this but I can't remember what model cars they came out of so I can start lookin for the parts. So if any one has done this or has some info on the subject I would appreciate it! Thanks for the help.

Any F/M/J/R body cars that had it, as well as k-cars. Grab the trunk light and wiring for the pushbotton switch as well as the pushbutton while you are ion there. Loof for Diplomats, gran furys, and Fifth Aves in the junkyard.

I think mine came out of some random GM car that was the first one I saw in fairly new condition. They aren't hard to fab up and create a linkage.

I should take a picture of that...

That would be the hard way to do this. The Chrysler trunk latch bolts right on and requires only one wire. No fabrication at all.

I'm doing good. My job keeps me incredibly busy so I don't really have much free time anymore, but at least it pays the bills. I think I have seen that intake on craigslist a few times.... ;)
