Thanks Dan.
I got an Edelman brass fitting that is about a 3/8, hooked up the hose and it works. The idle with this carb is a little rough, but it runs okay. I'm thinking that I just may need to tweak it some more.
Also, when it's just idling, I put my hand on the intake (Offy) and it feels pretty cool, temp wise. I'm using a Dutra front manifold, and a modified rear manifold. The rear manifold has been cut down and welded to where it is sitting below the intake. I'm thinking that I may need to rig up some kind of intake heat.
I'm gonna take her on the road in awhile and see how she feels.
Later guys, and thanks for the input!

I solved the rough idle issue: I just tightened the intake/exhaust manifold nuts, and wah-lah! Nice smooth idle.
Duh! One of you guys needs to come and give me a kick in the, as Mr. Krabs would say, "me captain's quarters"!
Oh well, I learned a lesson hopefully...:D

We'll have to write up a script for an episode of "Spongecarb Squarebore"...

Just got my 32/36 initially fired up. The adapter plate had a spot drilled for the PCV valve. Mine fires up nicely. Just need to do a little tweaking.

Cool!
Mine fires up nicely as well, and it has a pretty smooth idle. I still need to tweak it a bit though.
I still need to sort out the kickdown cable. I have a Lokar cable, I'm just not sure how to hook up the carb end.
Any suggestions? Or should I start a new thread?

I went with the Lokar cable also. I'll have to take pictures. The kickdown is hooked up to the bottom of the throttle bracket. The throttle cable goes to the top side and is in the push mode which makes the kickdown in the pull mode. I had to make a 'L' bracket to hookup to the stock brackets that came with the kit...again I need to take pictures.

Okay, I started a new thread, but I think I've got it. I looked through some old posts, and I saw one by that guy from Argentina. Danke Schon, Gracias, Thanks!
The Lokar trans kickdown cable needs to be pulled in the opposite direction from the throttle cable, that's what was confounding me. I've done a little "backyard engineering", and I think it's gonna work. I just have to do a road test.
Thanks fellas!

What should the timing be set to? I've also got the pertronix electronic module.
