If you want a v8 car get another car with a v8 in it. But taking a slant and making it run insane is an artform and a passion. I have my six cylinder stuff that is just gobs of fun and then I have a demon with that will get a 340 with my NOS sportsman fogger system plumbed in

Keep your slant, learn it,play with it. You can dip into the 13's with the right gears,headwork (big area that needs attention) and enough weight reduction...just look at my duster

Kinda what I'm doing. I have an Offy 4bbl intake with a 2bbl carb on it. I'll probably just keep the 2bbl carb on it, but if I do decide to step up to a 4bbl, I won't have to remove the intake. I can just swap carbs and adapters.
