its basically jibberish to me, found an old marine camshaft, looked up the numbers and this is what it told me

Durations at .050 lift

int 198*
ex 203*

Cam Lift

int .270
ex .276

Lobe centers

in 106*
ex 112*

I don't quite understand these figures, usually people speak in degrees like, "Mine is a 270*" or what ever, are these different numbers at different specs? ha ha, I am confused, would appreciate all help!

thanx

Looks like the '71 and up cam which was used earlier as the marine cam. It's about 244° advertised duration and is ground 3° advanced with 109° lobe separation. Multiply the cam lift by 1.5 to get the gross valve lift. Take away the lash setting from that to get the net valve lift.
