The only way I can start my car is putting a screwdriver on the starter relay. Ive replaced the starter relay already and the first few days it started normally but now it wont start with just a turn of the ignition. What could be causing this?

Ignition switch, neutral start switch, faulty wiring somewhere. Time to break out the test light and check for continuity.

Start with the easiest to check first - test the neutral safety switch.
Then check the wires that lead to it for melted, bare, or broken spots.
Check all wires and connections to/from the starter relay.
Last resort - ignition switch.

This happened to me a week ago. After installing a radio and replacing some dodgy wiring the car just would not start. Only the way you discribe.

It took me two long evenings under the dash with a flashlight to find out that some previous owner had installed a very small anti-theft switch under the steering collumn. :)
