I really hope it's something with that ground cable. Could those few cables I removed in relation to the ac really take out the rest of the electrical system?

Nothing smelled burnt and all the fuses under the dash is okey

How should the car be grounded from the begining? Is there one or two big ground cables? Mine went from the battery to that bracket holding the compressor. So it was grounded through that whole contruction wich was attached both to the enginge and the chassi.

My brother told me his car had two grouning cables, on from the battery to the engine and one from the gearbox to the chassi.

Look close at the Ground strap, I have had these go "bad" when they were disturbed(moved around). My multimeter said it was good and I had radio lights etc but when I tried to start the car just a weak click. Also look real close at where you bolted that ground on. Make sure you have clean metal for the ground to work good.
Just my 02.
