Where can a person get good quality crimp connectors and such. I hate the cheap crap that is sold in most of the of the chain stores. Also, can the factory bulk head wires be removed from the plug-in part of the bulkhead connection? Can a person find the crimp on ends to go back into the bulkhead? What kind of connectors did Mopar use on our old slant powered cars? (was it standard or just used on chryslers?).
I know this is a lot of questions but I am on a mission to try to rejuvinate the wiring in the ol' W150. Trying to reduce the voltage drops.
(I found a nice DMM at a pawn shop too.)

The Good Life.

I have successfully removed many terminal from bulkhead connectors. You need a thin flathead screwdriver of the sort found in jewelers screwdriver sets or on Leatherman tools. Very very thin. To remove the terminal you must bend the small tab on top of the terminal and inside the housing down and the terminal slides out the back.

The original connector shells and crimp terminals were from Packard wire, They are still available. Waytek wire caries them. Search for packard series 56.
