I have had good service from Autolites, also. However, Autolite has been shifting production to China, so look at the box, to see where the plugs were made. I would use made in USA, maybe made in Mexico, but never made in China.

Champions were made in the U.S.A but last year I discovered they were now made in Mexico (from the previous year). I even sent them a letter letting them know I expected a price decrease since their labor cost was now lower...no response.

I use NGK V-powers in my stuff. GR5 is 2 heat ranges colder than the stock recommended GR4. Heat range is reversed --> higher number = colder. I run GR4 or GR45 in my current engines.

I'm no expert, and have never had anything over 11:1, just my 2 cents.

I use the Champion # because I had a chart. FYI I had thought about the new E3 plugs so I looked them up and they use the same plug # for all the heat ranges From N9Y to N17Y. So I questioned them on how could this be in their Tech Forum and got no responce. Guess they don't really want to sell sparkplugs.

Yes Guys I dis use some of those Champions in the dart a while Back.

I have been doing a lot of research on spark plugs.com,

I have a finewire irridium NGK heat range 9 in the dart from over the summer. ET's went down. .06 Seconds and Picked up 4mpg using thsis plug vs other stuff.

I got some NGK fine wires for the Ruster Engine too. Just one heat range colder NGK 10 - Should be good - We'll see.

I can supply Part / stock #s if anyone cares.
