I just picked up a A body 8 3/4 housing and axles this week and found that the rear bearing on the passenger side had spun and did some damage to the housing. How do I go about fixing this so I can install it in my 64 Valiant?

I am sure that anyone would need to see pic's to really help you. A whole lot depends on how damaged the housing is, fixes range from easy to it's junk and/or cheaper to find another one.

I will post some pics tonight. The damage is where the bearing presses in it is gouged up a little bit not bad but I know a little off is a big deal.

Don't throw it away......

Worst case scenario would be to cut that side off and install a Moser housing. They are about $60.00 but well worth it and very good quality.
I had Moser housings installed on both sides on mine. I really like the 8 3/4 Sure Grip on my car......
