Its a Jegs part number 10563 200F on/185F off switch. The first one i got never turned on  that was fun coolant boiled all over the place. Any way I put it right next to the thermostat and used Teds diagram to wire it up. When i had the boil over i took the wire off and grounded it and it worked so I'm shur its not my wiring. I'm getting ready to put the replacement switch in now.

Test it by dunking it in a pot of boiling water for a min then see if there is any continuity between the output pin and the body.

Well I put the new one in and it did the same thing. I am running the coolant at a 50/50 ratio the jug said that it should boil at 275. I put a multi meter on the contact and base shortly after it stoped boiling and got no reading from it. I will try to boil it then try it.

thanks Pierre

I saw the Jeg's switches but figured it would kick on too low..........so I went with the stock GM switch that our auto parts had on hand. The switch is a Wells TS217, 3/8" NPT, two terminal. It was worked perfectly since I installed it.

I went to Columbus yesterday with the intention of returning both switches but, the Jegs clerk talked me into returning one and exchanging the other. Well I don't know if its a fluke or what but it is working at least for now.
