I have Clifford split headers and want to get a wideband o2 setup. I have dual 2" w an H-pipe. But I am confused as to where to mount the o2 bung.

In the H?
In the front header or rear header?
Or try to find a system that reads to sensors?

the 02 sensor should be in the collector just behind the primaries and low enough so the tip is in the exhaust flow, don`t just weld the nut on the pipe surface, use a step drill to move the 02 sensor in closer.if your h pipe is to far down stream it might not read right with the cooler ex temp.you can get duel 02 sensor kits but they are exspensive, if you weld in 2 bungs and swap the sensor between the 2 it will work for tuning.

I like the idea of 2 bungs, the dual kits are very spendy. Any brand or specific kits you can recommend?

aem recomends 18in from ex port so with a shorty header the collector is the right spot, if you are running a turbo with higher ex temp`s go 36in back, the 2 bung are 1 for each header not 2 in different location in the same pipe, it work will if you on a tight budget, just shift from side to side to check the tune.

Ya I got that, 1 bung per collecrtor. Welding the rearward bung is going to be a huge PIA. I'll keep you updated, I should get it all together in a couple weeks(paydays)..

Ok so I got my kit today, I will be installing it this week. I hope to get pics during the install and finish. Can't wait to not have to guess anymore.

This is the kit I bought based on reviews. Got it on Ebay for $225.
