Question:

Mid-80s Mopar electronic ignition uses a ballast resistor. Has anyone replaced the resistor AND the coil with a true, 12 volt coil? If so, has this worked out okay (no coil or ECM burnout issues)?

Thanks!

Jeff

Not quit sure what your asking.....

However, I have tossed the resistor so the system gets a full 12-15 volts all the time and replaced the coil with a Pertronix 12 volt 3 ohm coil.
The system works great! I am running a older MOPAR orange ECU.
