Does anybody know the specs on the O ring that goes on the distributor shaft housing? I was going to go to the auto store and just look through their assortment. But, they are dimensioned, and if I knew what size was called for, I could look at those specs on the plastic envelope they come in.

Thanks.

Sam

I guess I should buy that assortment. There is a retail Harbor Freight locally here. I will check them out.

Look in newspapers and magazines for the 20% off coupon and a freebie.....

Print off the online price, if it's cheaper than the store price they'll give you the online price (at least they do in CA)

I have been behind customs at the counter at Harbor Freight who have done that. It seems to help if the customer is a pretty girl. I am neither. But, I will give it a try.

Hey Sam
Maybe the cashier will be the Pretty Girl. We certainly have some at our stores here.

I guess that is a bonus even if you don't get the discount. They say those Suthern girls are mighty pretty. (Don't let the Northern ladies know I said that.)

Info....the last FelPro overhaul gasket set I bought contained an O-ring for the distributor, but it was way too fat. I don't know who came up with that size, but I had to search through my collection to find one that fit, and it was much thinner.

My Felpro gasket set had a bunch of O rings, non of them would fit. So I didn't bother using one. No leaks.
