posting seems to be hunky-dory now. Thnx admin!
New dist. cap,#3 still dead(& #4 seems to be a bit slouchy) Gonna install new intake gasket next. Hear rumor that intake gaskets can be a problem on these engines. Waddya think(since th writin' on th' manifold says no more than 10ft lbs)?

Just how are you coming to the conclusion that its a dead cylinder?

If you think the intake/exhaust gasket is leaking, spray some carb cleaner in there and see if it makes any difference.

Try a new spark plug in #3 and see if that helps. They may look good, but they can be/go bad.
