I have a 93 book.

But are you sure about that part number, the pushrods I'm finding are all 48xxx

Rocker arms are 44xxx, but no match.

48xxx are normal pushrods
488xx are premium pushrods

and

it's older than 1973 which is as far as my book goes back too.....

But I found this:

Part Name: PUSHROD
Part Number: 48012 $4.50

Kit # Name
CV216M40 CHEVROLET, 216 CI, 1940
CV216M41-47 CHEVROLET, 216 CI, 1941-1947
CV216M48-49 CHEVROLET, 216 CI, 1948-1949
CV216M50-52 CHEVROLET, 216 CI, 1950-1952

here:

Then I looked up 52 chevy truck at rockauto.

Get part number rp3019; 10.465 length , ball and cup for ends

These are pushrods I used to get back in the late 70's early 80's to make custom length 170 slant pushrods. They were real easy to shorten and much cheaper then custom pushrods or the MP pushrod kit. I am trying to find 4 more of an equivelent part, to have a full set.
They are 3/8 dia tubular, 9.325 overall length, ball and socket, no oil hole, and the cup end is just a press fit. They can be cut with a tubing cutter, counter drilled, and the cup reinstalled. At the time I was buying them, I think they were less then $2.00 ea. I don't remember what the original app was. I picked them out of the progressive size chart, in the back of the catalog.

Well crap, I looked up the wrong part number....

Same place, but try this:

Part Name: "60-67 FO/MER 352,390,406,427"
Part Number: 48812

Cross referenced to 67 7.0 (427) LTD

Sealed power rp3230R ball and cup 9.33"

From 1973 Trw Perf catalog,
TP 112 cam 453/453 valve lift, 302/302 cam lift, 284/284 dur, 55° overlap Hyd.

Rest must be newer as they are not in book besides .010 main and rod bearings.
