 Post subject: Check your pinion nut

Discovered my pinion nut to be only finger tight, so Check them for proper tourque, mind you it took 40 years to loosen as has never been apart, but now have possible reason for pinion bearing failure and constant u-joint failures . One more use for locktite.....Dave

If the pinion used left hand threads there would not be problems like this.
