I have a '71 D100 /6 3speed. interested in putting an overdrive trans in it. I have looked at the T5 swap and am interested in that but thought the A833 OD swap might be a little easier. What source vehicles should i look for at my local junk yard? What issues will i have with this swap?

1975-1987 Dodge Trucks/Vans (Also similar year Plymouth Trucks/Vans)

You will need the bellhousing, tranny, shift rods and shifter. You should have everything else you need already on your 3 speed vehicle.

You may need the floor hump if your rig is a 3on the tree.
