so i was driving around the other day and i noticed that my oil pressure gauge was bouncing around at cruize... BTW its not constant... just here and there for a couple seconds at a time...

normally its steady @ 65-70psi and it was going as low as 30psi... it seemed to stop doing it under accel and did it a little under decel...

i know i'll get kicked for this but i am running a electric oil pressure gauge (before i new they wern't good lol) so im looking to order a mech one... Autometer Cobalt series...

so it has a deep pan with 6qts so i know its not low oil... today was gonna pull the dizzy and take a peak at the oil pump gear... (used an known old one...). also has a hemi spring in it.

any idea's?

ok so i went and had a look around..

the sending unit wire had come loose! so crisis averted...

You're lucky it wasn't an oil pipe to your mech gauge that came loose...
