Romeo Yep I have More thoughts Brewin for more areo Stuff..I agree with you.

Guys, Here are Some More updates from Today's Work:

Here is the Short Story: Hacked the RR Door and Frame area to Loose another 8#'s Weight off Ruster. Should be @ 2235.5#'s Without Driver.

I have to finish Grinding and Smoothing and then do the Door / Lexan Reinstall.

22 Pics:

Cut the RR door off ( had welded it shut last Winter) - It weighed 23# with the Lexan installed.

These are a few more views of the Holesawed door before I did further cutting.

Window Frame gone off RR Door!

Door Weighs 14# after cutting - I still need to install the Lexan so that will add a bit of weight back to it. :-)

Other Items to look for and this is just a thought: What rear drums are you running on the 8 3/4? IF the 1 3/4 shoes and the drums have the "Bell" machine them off, have them turned to the max (.060-.090)over.
You are good with a holesaw you can drill the backingplates and still be safe(not too many holes)The front disc setup you are using are Heavy.Xmas is comming maybe ask Santa for something lite like Willwoods. Anytime around here when the kids ask(and the Misses) what I want for Xmas it usually will be for the car. I'm asking Santa for a spool and new tires so I can put the 4.30's back in.
Oh, don't forget to dump those extra parts in the steering column that aren't needed. You may want to reconsider the parking brake stuff too !!
You are going after ounces now .. Again just a thought.

Looks like it's getting to be about time for a rollcage, or a least a 6 pt bar, no? Figure on at least 60 lbs added. Car should be getting pretty floppy for 110+ MPH trap speeds and launches on slicks. Find someone who does CrMo...
