Okay, I know that Clifford Performance does not have a great reputation here. However, there is a carb adapter on their website (part number 08-1013) that is for using a 2bbl Holley or Weber on one of their 4bbl intakes. This adapter looks similar to the Mr Gasket carb adapter, but where the carb bolts onto looks like it is much closer to the Weber pattern. Does anyone here have this adapter, or has anyone here seen it? The price isn't too bad, and the hacked up Mr Gasket adapter that I'm using leaves something to be desired.
Thanks! :)

Wes, I have 2 Holley 2bbl plates for the Clifford, but I'm not sure of the part number. I'll be at the shop this weekend and can look.

Gents,

Are the inner four manifold bolts the same spacing as a Offenhauser? I have an Weiand/Offenhauser with out the 4 barrel or 2 barrel plates. It would sure be nice to have them so I can use the manifold.

Thanks,

Ted, IIRC, they are not the same. It isn't that big of a deal to drill a regular 4 hole carb spacer plate to fit though. :D

Are these generally aluminum 1/2" plate stock?

I have a Qcad file for making an adapter for the Offenhauser. If you are interested, it supposedly has an interchange format. Not sure what it interchanges with thou.

I would be very interested in seeing that, but I don't have QCAD on my computer.

Clifford parts are (for the most part) OK; it's their customer service and shipping that has the bad reputation. A lot of the Clifford intakes have a removable carb plate, so their 2 barrel adapter doesn't have the same sort of transition an adapter meant for a 4 barrel flange sometimes has.

It's free on Linux. A simple apt-get on Debian.
