10 years back (Mar 2002) DD provided an oil pan comparision and the following:

"FYI, the only other pan that will fit is the "369", mid 70s A & F body unit, the blue one in this pic. The front left corner of that pan comes close to the 60-66 K-frame so I dent it in a little to make clearance. (see the black lines)
DD "

The photo was:

I've tried to locate the "black lines" to understand how to modify the 369 pan to fit my 65 Dart so I don't have to repeatly install the engine to verify clearance to the "K" member.

Has anyone got a clear picture showing the required modification?

Errr... like these photos?
The "flat" steering center link on the 60-66 A-body vehicles is hard to clear with the 369 pan... the V - 8 centerlink give you a lot more clearance. (the rear "dented" area in the photos below)

Those pictures are perfect....thank you DD.

Can I modify a 69 oil pickup to fit the modified 369 pan (out of a 75 Dart) since I'm mounting the 369 oil pan to a 69 motor or is it possible the pickup will fit without modification?

If the pick-up tube is in the center of the sump and with-in a 1/4 to the floor of the pan, you are "good to go".
Dab some grease on the pick-up's edge and set the pan on, with-out the gasket, to get a mark on where the pick-up is locating, with-in the pan.

The DD middle picture of the orange pan appears to be correctly oriented considering drain plug orientation and location/orientation of "369".

The top picture looks "inside out"...in drafting this would be called "symmetric about centerline whereby the top picture would be one side of the centerline of a pair of pans and the middle picture would be the other side of the centerline............is this some strange photo software technique?
