Valve issues? Did you do a compression check at all?

Or

Is it running very rich? Does your car have a cat converter?

Other people with more knowledge than me will chime in I'm sure.

Sounds like a possible cracked head. Dose the bong vapors smell sweet and of antifreeze?

How much have you driven it? If the exhaust is full of oil/coolant it will take it awhile to burn out.

Check your compression. Could be your piston rings. How do your valve seals look...if they're hard they could be leaking.
