so I just bought a Elctro Welded 2 barrel intake and it has the 2 holes my question is can i cut out the 2 holes to open it up..As I am planing on putting a Holley 2300 on it

You can use a sawzall to make it one big oval....You can also bolt up your Mr.Gasket 1937 and using some blocking and clamps you could even use a holesaw and a drill press to open the holes up to match the 2300/Mr.Gasket adaptor.

One thing to note...bigger carb on a small plenum will see quick changes in vaccuum when something changes (i.e. throttle plate position, etc.).

Make sure to install a vacc guage to tune by and watch while you drive so you can adjust it for a better driving experience.
