when i turn the head lights on my fender mounted turn signals come on are they supposed to do this it truthfully baffles me and my dad had a scamp with the light package years ago and i cant remember if they come on

They are not supposed to come on with the headlights. Do your turn signals work? Have you double checked that you aren't using a single filament bulb in a socket intended for a dual filament bulb?

i didnt think they were supposed to come on i have the correct amber bulbs in it with the dual filament and my turn signal do work but i do know the fender mounts are the 73 and up style i dont know if that would have any effect on the way they work :shrug:
