Super Stock 426 Hemi 1968 Plymouth Barracuda and Dodge Dart

From 1966 on the Dana 60 was standard on stick 426 and many 440 B and E bodies, it might have also been an option with automatics on those cars. There was another little used Dana with a 9 1/4 ring gear for 440 stick C bodies.

Stick only, auto cars came with 8-3/4 rears. Danas were B body units, hence the odd cut wheel openings on Darts.

So the correct answer is there was never was an A body width Dana 60 from Ma Mopar.

There are a lot better ways to put power to the ground . They are pig heavy and no fun to work on.

If you have a 5000 lb 2000hp pulling truck just maybe its better than a good 9" Ford.....but then you have the case that the truck weighs 5000lbs cuz you use stupid heavy stuff.....
