I am trying to find a new Valve Cover for my 82 hydraulic head. Unless my reading has been wrong and I am off my rocker(pun) to many people still get it wrong The Hydraulic head valve cover does not fit a mechanical head valve cover and vice versa. Does anyone happen to know where I can get a new valve cover or a good used one that can clean up and be repainted well for my hydraulic head 82 slant?

I have the same problem. As far as I know there are no reproductions. With a little bit of luck you can probably find one at a junk yard. Technically every slant 6 car after 1981 should have that valve cover?!

I think I'd be more inclined to search in vans and pickups. If memory is correct, the slant was dropped out of cars in '84, but used in the light trucks to '87.

Good luck.....Roger
