Sounds good, Rick. My test bed motor and K-frame is still sittin' on the floor waiting...

Cheers,

Lou

#6 & #1 intake runners are very close to the exhaust but should be easy to clearance.

2 X 1 barrels fit also but close to the bolt boss on the rear.

Couple measurements front manifold. From the intake face to the outside edge of the manifold

Rear manifold. Intake face to edge of manifold

My complete exhaust minus muffler.

And this is probably one of the rarest Slant 6 photos ever? Original Hyperpaks and a Factory Argentina front manifold in the same photo. It is either that or that spy photo of the 2015 exhaust system for the new Ram "Inline Nine"

Cool pics and test fitting, Rick. Please bring your exhaust head pipe with you when we do the hand off and I can see how that fits as well.

Lou

It would be cool to see what the rear Argentine one looks like. Anyone have a photo from a magazine or FSM?

I think it is a modified factory manifold with the front three cut off.

This looks really sweet and seems to have a fair amount of interest! Any chance that with enough preorders a price drop would be possible?

I realize these will perform somewhere between stock manifolds and headers, but how do they stack up to other manifold designs (dutra duals or stock manifold with heat riser removed)?

You're assuming (incorrectly) that steel tube headers are always better than a stock manifold.

The only test data I have is from my back to back (As close as I could do it) tests in my relatively mild 15 second race car. I am not going to test them against anything else. The long tube Cliffords that they were tested against are considered by most to be the best headers, performance wise, for the early A body. And against them in my car they were almost the same. I would imagine in an all out race car running 12's they would likely give up some more ET. But that is just a guess.

No price break now.

Rick

Right, but whether headers or this manifold or that manifold is better depends on what we mean by "performance". It means something different for a high-RPM screamer of a race motor than it does for a freeway flyer or a grocery getter or a heavy hauler or...

Rick,What kind of insulation do you have around your fuel line? Very nice project. If I were not set up with Dutra Duals, I would be in for sure. This is a real boon to folks. Thanks.

Sam

Is that needed to support the exhaust manifolds?[/ZVOHQH0QZ
. The intake is what would need the support in my opinion. I am running them wits a clifford 4 barrel and no support brackets.

Rick

I will try and get some video of the noise the make.

awesome...that's noise I want to hear!!! lol
Is there special spacers needed when bolting the intake to the exhausts with the two thru bolts?
