I burned out a module and discovered the charging system overcharging. My module gets its juice from the batt terminal on the alternator through a relay.

Either the voltage regulator is bad or I have a grounding issue. I haven't looked into it completely yet. I was just wondering if my work on the overcharging issue will fix my burned module problem.
I've not had any issues with my HEI conversion for months/thousands of miles! Was hoping that repair would address the other.

Yes, overvoltage and/or spiky output will hammer the module.

Did all the necessary testing for the appropriate grounds & all is well there. On engine start up it is charging @ 14.5v. Then continues to climb. I shut it down @ 19.5v in fear of toasting another module.
I'll pick up a VR today.

Any recommendation's for a regulator. I'll probably go with NAPA if there are no other recommendations.

Which type of charging system? Up to '69 "Single field" or '70-up "dual field"?

Tough to get reliably good quality on the open market these days. Genuine American-made Mopar items can be had from Old Car Parts Northwest.

I ordered a regulator from Old Car Parts NW. Be here in a few days @ 13 + 3 dollars shipping and some change. Probably worth it @ twice the price.[/url]

3 days after I ordered it. I can't believe how much comfort I took in seeing a regulator with the Mopar symbol on it.
Installed it and checked the voltage. It had settled down to 14.3V. I've driven 100 miles or so and no issues.
