Okay so I took the head off my engine because the head gasket blew. It is the origional head gasket from when the car was sitting up for 30ish years.

I have gotten the head redone, and gotten all the parts i need to proceed with reassembly, but I see a little dip on the number six piston tunnel.

So is this a problem? If so what do I need to do?

You talking about the nick about 10 o'clock on the bore?

If the ring isn't going to get that high, smooth it off and run it.

what do i smooth it off with?

The little sanding disks on a dremel (they have some give)

Use fine.
