I bought an Offy intake with dual Webers about a year ago. I’d like to finally install the thing, but I’m not sure how to go about it because I have the rotating rod linkage for throttle and kickdown. Has anyone installed the ProLine setup with the rod linkage or will I have to change to cables?

I would say to switch to a cable throttle and eliminate the rod.

If you wish to keep the stock looking gas pedal It could be used with a cable setup from a 1972-1978ish d series truck.

You're really getting into the area of hot rodding that involves making your own stuff, as opposed to kits and pre-made parts. I agree, switch to a cable and that will at least make and easier starting point.

Picked up the early A v8 pedal assembly at the wrecking yard today. 30 bucks and life got a whole lot easier

The fact that you have access to one of those in a wrecking yard is stupendous!

I lived in Mountain View, CA for 3 years in the mid 1990s. I spent plenty of time in the wrecking yards. I had three A bodies to maintain and improve. :D
