Do these pistons differ from the drawing that was posted early on?

That is just some custom piston that a board member had made from JE Pistons. Totally different piston and different company. I agree that is confusing...

I will note that those one-off pistons cost something like $750 in 2017, which is about $1000 in 2024. This gives an idea of the excellent price on this current buy of forged pistons. If Doug and I charged for our labor, it would be $700/set easy...

Stan Aiton (user: hyper_pak) said he was doing something with Total Seal, but I do not know if anything happened.

I have purchased a set from Total Seal.
I worked with Kevin at TS
They are not cheap and for the price I don't know if I will buy anymore.
I asked about a group buy, but I never heard anyone else interested.

Without a drawing, I need to know what rings to buy. Are they standard size 2.2L rings or are they oversize ones?

I recommend you contact Kevin Studaker at Total Seal.
kevins@totalseal.com

I got a drawing from someone and that is what Kevin used to spec the rings.
Make sure you tell him you want a Gap Less ring.
I got just a top gap less ring set.

Your welcome.
Make sure you tell him you want GAPLESS.
If that is what you want of course.
