Could the ladder bar length be that far off side to side to cause a hard right launch? I honestly know nothing about ladder bars or 4 links. :?

Left bar too long or right bar too short. Rear end isn't square under the car.

Both bars are exactly the same length, Hemi joint to clevis.
Now it might not be square but the bars are the same.

I found the Problem!

You never swapped out the Hemi Joint for a proper Heim Joint.

:D :D

Good luck sorting it.

Agreed. Should be a 1/2 hemi joint, not a hemi joint. :P

Glad someone said it.
Smokin' Joints? I don't think so.
Tires in the burnout box? Well, possibly.

What would be nice would be if you could find someone with a vacant parking lot or something, where you could go and make a lot of back to back adjustments and launches without having to go to the track. At the track you only get 2 or 3 runs and wait for 3 hours and still may not find an answer. I wish I was of more help, sorry! :)

PS How long is your garage?

Seeing if the housing is square in the car doesn't take a degree in rocket surgery. It's not like you're launching a probe to Mars. :

Stan, I bought this book years ago.

Not sure that I really remember anything from it, but If you do not have it, It could prove helpful. It's on my shelf for reference and re-reading when I need it.

Like I said before I never really had any of those problems with either the '69 Dart ~3400# stick car or Ruster ~2200# Foot brake / Trans brake car.
